Laboratory of Pathomorphology

Laboratory of Pathomorphology conducts:

Examination of operative, biopsy, (including express biopsy) and cytological material, general morphological, immunohistochemical, in situ hybridization.
Immunohistochemical examination is performed with LEICA AUTOSTAINER BOND MAX using a wide range of antibodies.

This method is used for:

Clarification of tumor histogenesis;
Identification of primary foci;
Determining the degree of tumor anaplasia;
Determination of immunophenotype in lymphoproliferative disease;
Estimation of progesterone receptors and oncogene Her2 /neu (or c-erb-B-2) in breast cancer;
Determination of tumor tissue sensitivity to hormonal and chemotherapeutic drugs.
